We know there are a lot of manufacturers that seems to make similar stuff. We use this page to try to make sense of where everything falls in the big picture. Our star ratings are based on brand longevity, product placement in the industry, service network and support, quality and functionality and ease of doing business. In some cases, items that are over-built from a quality standpoint might receive a lower rating. This is due to the fact that the item is over-built for any practical, mainstream application. We don’t want you to waste your money when more cost-effective stuff is available.
We also get user reviews from customers just like you. We want to know how the unit works in the field (good or bad). If a handful of people say something isn’t working for them… it’s gone off our site. Period.
