The Good	1" thick polished plate for faster recovery. The frame is fully welded, no screws. The unit has a "snap-action" type thermostat that is embedded into the plate on the underside vs. a surface mount type thermostat.
The Bad	Electric ignition vs. standard pilot light means you can't use the griddle when the power is out.
