1. Excellent sturdy build quality 2. High quality rubber grip footer. 3. Evenly cooks the food wihout annoying rotating trays. 4. Good warranty * see below 5. Excellent tech support. 6. Great price ($280 in 11/2012) 7. Very easy to operate. Open, Place Food, Turn Dial, Close.
1. Louder than a Panasonic oven. 2. The fan runs for 1 to 3 minutes after the cooking is done and you have removed your food. Even if you only heat butter for 15 seconds, the fan will run for 2 minutes. Tech support told me it is a new feature to protect the magnetron and other components. The cooking element is off, so do not assume it is still cooking. 3. Only 1 cooking power level. So, no defrosting is possible. I knew this ahead of time, but I just didn't want a complicated unit like the pushbutton versions. 4. HUGE: The warranty will not apply if you use it in a residence. This is hidden in the fine print under "downloads" below (at the time of this writing on this site). So if you want to use it in a home, you will have to "start a business" and do without on-site service repairs (you'll have to take it in) 5. Warranty is not printed or included with the product, and you must use a smart phone or go online to see the verbage. This is tricky, as the details could change at any time. So go online and print off your warranty as soon as you get your unit.
(In the first review I left out the star rating. This is a duplicate. Please erase the other review I submitted) This is a great machine when you just want something simple and reliable. You can't program it, but anyone can learn to use it in 5 seconds. There is a new model coming out in Q1 2013 that will allow you to still have a simple dial operation and have a few options to change the cooking power level (like the touch-panel versions have, and the dual dial units used to have). So if you want to have defrosting, choose one of the touch-panel versions or wait for the new model.
